Love Reflections & What’s To Come

Gratitude:

Looking back on 2016 fills me with gratitude for what’s happened and the excitement for what’s to come. I spent the better part of the year conceiving and bringing this project into fruition.

The intention and sole purpose of the project is to spread love and positivity. With that as the driving force, things really seemed to come together. Or more accurately, miracles seemed to be pulled off. From shooting two video series in only three days overseas, to shooting four video series within three weeks, to sometimes having 24hr turnarounds from the team in order to pull off releases on time.

I am so grateful to be working with the amazing and talented people that rallied together to help me bring this initiative to life. And I am so grateful to be doing this work, it fills me with love and joy everyday.

We Mirror:

It’s been an honor and a privilege to see people experiencing what simply saying “I love you” can do. I have seen an elderly couple tear up, a husband realize he needs to say it more to his wife, an artist decide to say it daily to herself. I’ve seen strangers light up after they faced each other and said “I love you”. One of the most powerful experiences was watching Arab Muslims and Jewish Israelis look at each other through the eyes of love.

The act of facing another person and saying “I love you”, no matter who they are or what kind of relationship you have with them, if at all, is transformational. When we feel the love in ourselves, we are able to give it freely. Accessing the love that flows through us and sending it to others, is what will change the world.

What’s to Come:

I will be releasing more video series over the next year that challenge us to love ourselves and others unconditionally, and to question anything that opposes the truth of who we all are- amazing and powerful people.

The We Mirror series will continue to show people mirroring love to one another— including those with different political beliefs, and those that have been taught or told not to love one another. We will dive deeper into exploring love and celebrating those who put that front and center in their life and in their creative work.

I am looking forward to seeing where this project takes me and the discoveries made from bringing people together. Thank you for coming with me on this journey.

I Love You
